What does the final picture of heaven look like? In this powerful sermon, we dive deep into the Book of Revelation to witness the ultimate fulfillment of God’s redemptive plan: a countless multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and tongue standing before the throne of God.

While modern missionaries spend years learning languages to reach the estimated 42% of the world that remains “unreached,” Scripture reveals an upcoming 3.5-year global revival that will bypass every barrier of human language. From the confusion of Babel to the miracle of Pentecost, God has always been targeting the global heart of humanity.

But this great multitude comes with a profound cost. Join us as we look at the status, the sacrifice, and the ultimate victory of the tribulation saints who overcame by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. No matter what hardships we face today, we can find peace in this beautiful truth: Because of Jesus, heaven knows your name.

Sermon Notes:

Revelation 7:9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no
one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the
throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their
hands,
Revelation 7:13 Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these
arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?”
Revelation 7:14 And I said to him, “Sir, you know.” So he said to me, “These are the
ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them
white in the blood of the Lamb.
Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was
committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their
witness to Jesus and for the word of God, …

Revelation 14:4 These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are
virgins.

The modern missionary must spend approximately six years [4 years of Bible, 2 of
target language] before he is fully equipped to present the gospel in a language that
is not his own. . . .
This worldwide revival will occur over the short time period of 3 1/2 years. . .

Acts 2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood,
before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.
Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord
shall be saved.’

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as
a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

I. THE STATUS OF THE MULTITUDE IN HEAVEN.
Revelation 7:9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one
could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne
and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands.

Revelation 5:11 Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the
throne, … and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and
thousands of thousands,

Revelation 7:10 “… Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne and to the
Lamb.”

Revelation 7:9 “… and behold, a great multitude which no one could number,
of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, …

According to the Joshua Project, there are 17,400 “people groups” in the world.
Those groups make up a world population of over 8 billion people.
Right now, approximately 42% of the world is still “unreached” with the gospel.
That equals 3.4 billion people who have no access to the Good News of Jesus.

Today Christianity has about 20% of its followers in Africa, and 20% of its followers
in Asia and 20% of its followers in Europe and 20% of its followers in North America
and 20% of its followers in South America.
Every other religion has at least 80% of its followers concentrated in one continent
except Christianity

Acts 2:6 And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were
confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language.
Acts 2:7 Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Look,
are not all these who speak Galileans?
Acts 2:8 And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born?

Genesis 11:9 Therefore its name is called Babel, because there the Lord confused
the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over
the face of all the earth.

Revelation 7:9 “… a great multitude…. before the Lamb, clothed with white robes,
with palm branches in their hands

II. THE SACRIFICE OF THE MULTITUDE IN HEAVEN.

2 Timothy 2:3 You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

Romans 12:1 (CJB) I exhort you, therefore, brothers, in view of God’s mercies, to
offer yourselves as a sacrifice, living and set apart for God. This will please him;
it is the logical “Temple worship” for you.

Every single one of those seven churches of Revelation have ceased to exist.

According to Operation World,
“Turkey is the most unreached nation on planet earth.

Revelation 20:4 “… I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness
to Jesus and for the Word of God

Revelation 7:14 … “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation and
washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word
of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

Because of Jesus, heaven knows my name.
