Revelation 7:9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no
one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the
throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their
hands,
Revelation 7:10 and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our
God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”

Revelation 7:11 All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four
living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,
Revelation 7:12 saying: “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, Thanksgiving and
honor and power and might, Be to our God forever and ever. Amen.”
Revelation 7:13 Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these
arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?”

Revelation 7:14 And I said to him, “Sir, you know.” So he said to me, “These are the
ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them
white in the blood of the Lamb.
Revelation 7:15 Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day
and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them.
Revelation 7:16 They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall
not strike them, nor any heat;

I. THE STATUS OF THE MULTITUDE IN HEAVEN.
Revelation 7:9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one
could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues,…”

Revelation 7:14 “… These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation,

Revelation 7:10 and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our
God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”

John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become
children of God, to those who believe in His name:
John 1:13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of
man, but of God.

Salvation is the theme of their worship, just like it is of ours.
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound that SAVED a wretch like me
This our song of victory, Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Life now is sweet and my joy is complete, For I’m saved, saved, saved!

Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Psalm 40:16 Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; Let such as
love Your salvation say continually, “The Lord be magnified!”
Psalm 96:2 Sing to the Lord, bless His name; Proclaim the good news of His
salvation from day to day.
Psalm 118:14 The Lord is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation.

Revelation 7:11 All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four
living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God.

The question is not whether we should kneel in our worship services today.
The question is, shall we who will all kneel one day also kneel now as well?

Revelation 7:12 saying: “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, Thanksgiving and
honor and power and might, Be to our God forever and ever. Amen.”

IV. THE SERVICE OF THE MULTITUDE IN HEAVEN.
Revelation 7:15 Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and
night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them.

A complete tablet Temple Warning sign was found in a archaelogical dig in 1871
and written in Greek and Latin was the following inscription::
“No stranger is to enter within the balustrade round the temple and enclosure.
Whoever is caught will be himself responsible for his ensuing death.”

Ephesians 2:14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has
broken down the middle wall of separation,
Ephesians 2:15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of
commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man
from the two, thus making peace,
Ephesians 2:16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through
the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.
Ephesians 2:17 And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to
those who were near.
Ephesians 2:18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

V. THE SHEPHERDING OF THE MULTITUDE IN HEAVEN.
Revelation 7:16 They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall
not strike them, nor any heat;
Revelation 7:17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them
and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from
their eyes.”
Psalm 23:1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
Psalm 23:2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the
still waters.

2 Corinthians 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us
a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,
2 Corinthians 4:17 (Voice) You see, the short-lived pains of this life are creating for us
an eternal glory that does not compare to anything we know here.
2 Corinthians 4:17 (EASY) We have these little troubles that continue for a short time.
But as a result, we will receive the great things that God has prepared for us.
Those great things are much more important than our little troubles. And God’s great
things will continue for ever!

before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.
Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord
shall be saved.’

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as
a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

I. THE STATUS OF THE MULTITUDE IN HEAVEN.

Revelation 5:11 Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the
throne, … and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and
thousands of thousands,

Revelation 7:10 “… Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne and to the
Lamb.”

Revelation 7:9 “… and behold, a great multitude which no one could number,
of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, …

According to the Joshua Project, there are 17,400 “people groups” in the world.
Those groups make up a world population of over 8 billion people.
Right now, approximately 42% of the world is still “unreached” with the gospel.
That equals 3.4 billion people who have no access to the Good News of Jesus.

Today Christianity has about 20% of its followers in Africa, and 20% of its followers
in Asia and 20% of its followers in Europe and 20% of its followers in North America
and 20% of its followers in South America.
Every other religion has at least 80% of its followers concentrated in one continent
except Christianity

Acts 2:6 And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were
confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language.
Acts 2:7 Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Look,
are not all these who speak Galileans?
Acts 2:8 And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born?

Genesis 11:9 Therefore its name is called Babel, because there the Lord confused
the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over
the face of all the earth.

II. THE SACRIFICE OF THE MULTITUDE IN HEAVEN.
Revelation 7:13 Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these

ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them

Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was

2 Timothy 2:3 You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

Romans 12:1 (CJB) I exhort you, therefore, brothers, in view of God’s mercies, to
offer yourselves as a sacrifice, living and set apart for God. This will please him;
it is the logical “Temple worship” for you.

Every single one of those seven churches of Revelation have ceased to exist.

“Turkey is the most unreached nation on planet earth.

As George Washington once wrote in his diary, our ultimate assurance rests on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ offered on the cross. “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” (2 Corinthians 3:17)

Charles Carroll was the last signer to die in 1832 at the age of 95.
He wrote out his declaration of faith at the age of eighty-nine.
“On the mercy of my Redeemer I rely for my salvation, and on His merits;
not on the works I have done in obedience to His precepts.”
John Quincy Adams, sixth President of the United States:
“The Declaration of Independence laid the cornerstone of human government
upon the first precepts of Christianity.”
Patrick Henry, responsible for the Bill of Rights, ratifier of the U.S. constitution
“It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was
founded not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on the gospel
of Jesus Christ.”
John Jay was a Christian and America’s first Supreme Court Justice of the U.S.
who said in a letter in 1816 quote:
“Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty, as
well as the privilege and interest, of our Christian nation to select and prefer
Christians for their rulers.”

Jefferson’s original passage on slavery (quote)
“He [King George] has waged cruel war against human nature itself, violating its
most sacred rights of life and liberty in the persons of a distant people who never
offended him, captivating & carrying them into slavery in another hemisphere or
to incur miserable death in their transportation thither.”

1) THE BIRTH OF NATIONAL FREEDOM.
Leviticus 25:10 “… proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants.
Psalm 118:5 ESV Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me
and set me free.

The Declaration of Independence said
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they
are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these
are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

The final sentence of the Declaration of Independence is a promise that the signers
were willing to sacrifice everything for their cause:
“And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of
Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes,
and our sacred Honor.”

On July 4, 1776, the day the Declaration of Independence was signed, John Adams
said in an address to before the Continental Congress:
“Live or die; sink or swim; survive or perish; I am committed to this Declaration
of Independence. I am committed, and if God wills it, I am ready to die that this
nation may be free.”
Patrick Henry a 39 year old Christian famously proclaimed:
“Is life so dear or peace so sweet as to be purchased at the price of chains and
slavery? Forbid it Almighty God – I know not what course others may take; but
as for me – give me liberty or give me death!”

A Marine Sergeant wrote, “It is the soldier not the reporter who has given us freedom
of the press. It is the soldier not the poet gave us the freedom of speech.
It is the soldier not the politician who has given us the freedom to vote, to assemble
and even to demonstrate.
It is the soldier, who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose
coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag.”
If you burn our flag wrap yourself in it first.

The Lord’s Supper is a memorial that reminds us of the cost “by which Christ has
made us free.”
John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his
friends.
Freedom has always been bought with blood.

II. THE BATTLE FOR SPIRITUAL FREEDOM.
John 8:32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
John 8:36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

Ian Thomas said this about living the Christian life
“You can’t. God never said you could. He can. He always said He would. So let Him.”

Galatians 2:20 The life that I now live (present tense) I live by the faith of the Son of
God (not my faith, but His faith) who loved me and gave Himself for me (past,present
and future tense)

III. THE BOUNDARY OF PERSONAL FREEDOM
Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free …

Galatians 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty
for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
Galatians 5:13 (MSG) It is absolutely clear that God has called you to a free life.
Just make sure that you don’t use this freedom as an excuse to do whatever you
want to do and destroy your freedom.

James Madison founding father Constitution writer and 4th President said:
“We have staked the whole future of American civilization, not upon the power of
government, far from it. We have staked the future of all of our political institutions
upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves … ”

Adrian Rogers quote:
“You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of
freedom; and, you cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. And the government
cannot give to the people anything except that which at first takes from the people.”

I have never heard of veteran who fought for communism or socialism

Israel is the only nation in the world that has the promise of endurance because
Israel was a nation created by God

From George Washington’s diary:
“Let my heart, gracious God, be so affected with Your glory and majesty that I may
discharge those weighty duties which Thou requirest of me. Again I have called
on Thee for pardon and forgiveness of sins. For the sacrifice of Jesus Christ
offered on the cross for me. Thou gavest Thy Son to die for me and has given me
assurance of salvation.”

2 Corinthians 3:17 (NLT) For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the
Lord is, there is freedom.
1 Thessalonians 5:19 Do not quench the Spirit.

V. THE MOVING OF THE MOUNTAINS AND ISLANDS.

powers of the heavens will be shaken.

VI. THE HIDING OF THE WICKED.
Revelation 6:15 And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the
commanders, ‘the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in
the caves and in the rocks of the mountains,
Revelation 6:16 and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the
face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is … longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish
but that all should come to repentance.

VII. THE COMING OF HIS WRATH.
Revelation 6:17 For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”
Joel 2:11 “… For the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; Who can endure it?

John 3:36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not
believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.

them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their
fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.

Matthew 24:9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be
hated by all nations for My name’s sake.

1) Is there life right after death?
2) Do people in heaven remember life on earth?
3) Do people in heaven see what is happening on earth?

The 5th Seal
I. THE CONTEXT OF THEIR MARTYRDOM.
Revelation 6:9 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls …”

Revelation 3:12 He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God,

Exodus 40:5 You shall also set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark
of the Testimony, and put up the screen for the door of the tabernacle.
Exodus 40:6 Then you shall set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of
the tabernacle of the tent of meeting.

Revelation 6:9 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls …”

Revelation 8:3 Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the
altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the
the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
Revelation 8:4 And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints,
ascended before God from the angel’s hand.

II. THE CAUSE OF THEIR MARTYRDOM.
Revelation 6:9 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of
those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held.

They were murdered for fulfilling the two greatest commandments–loving God and
loving people.

Revelation 2:13 “… And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in
the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you,…”

According to a report from watchdog group, Open Doors US, in 2025
“388 million Christians suffered persecution last year with 4,849 murdered and 3,632
churches and Christian properties were either destroyed or attacked.while 4,712
Christians were detained.”
With North Korea, Somalia, and Yemen being the top 3 worst countries
Satan past, present and future has always used an ungodly governments to be the
greatest persecutor of the church.

III. THE CRY FROM THEIR MARTYRDOM.
Revelation 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy
and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”

Luke 18:6, “Jesus said, … Shall not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to
Him day and night, and will not God judge when His elect cry out to Him?”

Genesis 4:10 “…The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground …”
Revelation 6:10 “… will avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”

IV. THE COMPLETION OF THE MARTYRDOM.
Revelation 6:11 Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to
them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their
fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.

Revelation 2:10 Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer.
Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested,
and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the
crown of life.

V. THE CONTINUATION AFTER THEIR MARTYRDOM.
Revelation 6:9 (VOICE) When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I saw under the
heavenly altar the souls of those murdered for holding fast to the word of God and
their testimony.
Revelation 6:10 They cried out in a great, singular voice. Murder Victims:

1. Death is Not the End. Life goes on after Death.

John 5:24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him
who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed
from death into life.

2. The Martyred Souls Aren’t Sleeping.

Daniel 12:2 ‘And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake,Some
to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt.
1 Thessalonians 4:13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those
who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope.
1 Thessalonians 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God
will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.

2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the
body and to be present with the Lord.
Philippians 1:23 For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart
and be with Christ, which is far better.
For unbelievers, death means everlasting punishment in hell (Luke 16:22–23).
Luke 16:22 “… the rich man also died, and was buried;
Luke 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, …”

3) People in Heaven Remember Life on Earth.
Revelation 6:10 (NLV) All those who had been killed cried out with a loud voice saying,
“How long will it be yet before You will punish those on the earth for killing us?
Lord, You are holy and true.”

4) People in Heaven See What is Happening on Earth.

Revelation 19:1 After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in
heaven, saying, “Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to
the Lord our God!
Revelation 19:2 For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged
the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged
on her the blood of His servants shed by her.”

Luke 9:28 Now it came to pass, about eight days after these sayings, that He
took Peter, John, and James and went up on the mountain to pray.
Luke 9:29 As He prayed, the appearance of His face was altered, and His robe
became white and glistening
Luke 9:30 And behold, two men talked with Him, who were Moses and Elijah,
Luke 9:31 who appeared in glory and spoke of His decease which He was about
to accomplish at Jerusalem.

Do you realize that we really don’t know one another here on earth?
1 Corinthians 13:12 “… Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

5. Don’t Forget The Fans In The Stands.
Hebrews 12:1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of
witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us,
and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

Revelation 6:2 And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow;
and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.
Revelation 6:3 When He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature
saying, “Come and see.”

Revelation 6:4 Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one
who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another;
and there was given to him a great sword.
Revelation 6:5 When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say,

THE 1ST SEAL: THE WHITE HORSE OF DECEPTIVE PEACE.
Revelation 6:1 Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard
one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, “Come and see.”
Revelation 6:2 And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow;
and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.

Opinions on who is the first rider is include:
1) Jesus Christ
2) the advance of the gospel,
3) False religion
4) the antichrist,
5) the spirit of conquest,
6) government persecuting Christians,
7) Satan’s servants in general.
8) Not a person but a personification

Revelation 6:8 So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat
on it was Death, and Hades

The horsemen are not persons, but personifications, representations
manifestations, embodiments,
It’s not that the four horses will actually ride over the earth, but are symbolical
representations of things that will happen

Revelation 6:4 Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one
who sat on it to take peace from the earth, …”

Daneil 11:21 And in his place shall arise a vile person, to whom they will not give
the honor of royalty; but he shall come in peaceably, and seize the kingdom by
Jeremiah 6:14 They have also healed the hurt of My people slightly, saying, ‘Peace,
peace!’ When there is no peace.
1 Thessalonians 5:3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction
comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.

THE 2ND SEAL: THE RED HORSE OF DESTRUCTIVE PUNISHMENT.
Revelation 6:3 When He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature
saying, “Come and see.”
Revelation 6:4 Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who
sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and
there was given to him a great sword.

Matthew 24:6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not
troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
Matthew 24:7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom …”
Matthew 24:22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved;
but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.

Albert Einstein said,”The unleashed power of the atom has changed everything
except our way of thinking. We shall require a substantially new manner of thinking
if mankind is to survive.”
President Ronald Reagon once said, “Man has used every weapon he has ever
devised … It takes no crystal ball to perceive that a nuclear war, is likely … In a
nuclear war, all mankind would lose.”
Former Soviet president Brezhnev once said, “Only he who has decided to
commit suicide can start a nuclear war.”

THE 3RD SEAL: THE BLACK HORSE OF DIVISIVE POVERTY.
Revelation 6:5 When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say,
“Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had
a pair of scales in his hand.
Revelation 6:6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying,
A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barleåy for a denarius; and do
not harm the oil and the wine.”

Lamentations 5:10 Our skin is hot as an oven, because of the fever of famine.
Lamentations 4:9 Those slain by the sword are better off than those who die of hunger;
For these pine away, stricken for lack of the fruits of the field.

Matthew 24:7 “… And there will be famines …
Mark 13:8 “… and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows.

Revelation 6:6 “… and do not harm the oil and the wine.”

THE 4TH SEAL: THE PALE HORSE OF DEADLY PLAGUES.
Revelation 6:7 When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth
living creature saying, “Come and see.”
Revelation 6:8 So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who
sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them
over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the
beasts of the earth.

Matthew 24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of
Man be.

Exodus 8:19 Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, “This is the finger of God.” But
Pharaoh’s heart grew hard, and he did not heed them, just as the Lord had said.
Revelation 9:20 20 But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues,
did not repent …”
Revelation 9:21 And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their
sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.

Acts 17:31 because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in
righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this
to all by raising Him from the dead.
