What will it look like when the kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ? In Revelation 11:14-19, the second woe is past, the third woe is coming quickly, and the seventh angel sounds his trumpet as loud voices in heaven proclaim that He shall reign forever and ever.
In this message from our series Revelation: Jesus Revealed – The View Behind The Veil, we look at four scenes: the proclamation of the kingdom transfer, as the kingdoms of the world Satan once offered Jesus pass to their rightful King; the praise of heavenly victory, as the twenty-four elders fall on their faces and worship God; the preview of things to come on earth, when the nations are angry, God’s wrath comes, the dead are judged, and His servants are rewarded; and the presence of the ark of His covenant in the temple of God in heaven.
Along the way we hear the promise that of His kingdom there will be no end, the disciples’ question about when the kingdom would be restored to Israel, and Jesus’ words at the Last Supper that He would not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes. Because the veil was torn in two, believers can enter the Holiest with boldness by the blood of Jesus today – and one day the tabernacle of God will be with men, and He will dwell with them.

Revelation 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices
in heaven saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of
our Lord and of His Christ and He shall reign forever and ever!”
Revelation 11:16 And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones
fell on their faces and worshiped God,
Revelation 11:17 saying: “We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, the One
who is and who was and who is to come, because You have taken Your great
power and reigned.
Revelation 11:18 The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, and the
time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that You should reward Your
servants the prophets and the saints, and those who fear Your name, small
and great, and should destroy those who destroy the earth.”
Revelation 11:19 Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark
of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises,
thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.
I. THE PROCLAMATION OF THE KINGDOM TRANSFER.
Revelation 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices
in heaven saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of
our Lord and of His Christ and He shall reign forever and ever!”
Matthew 4:8 Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain,
and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.
Matthew 4:9 And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall
down and worship me.”
Matthew 12:26 If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then
will his kingdom stand?
Luke 1:33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom
there will be no end.”
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government
will be upon His shoulder.
Habakkuk 2:14 For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the
Lord as the waters cover the sea.

II. THE PRAISE OF HEAVENLY VICTORY.
Revelation 11:16 And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones
fell on their faces and worshiped God,
Revelation 11:17 saying: “We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, the One
who is and who was and who is to come, because You have taken Your great
power and reigned.
III. THE PREVIEW OF THINGS TO COME ON EARTH
Revelation 11:18 The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, and the
time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that You should reward Your
servants the prophets and the saints, and those who fear Your name, small
and great, and should destroy those who destroy the earth.”
IV. THE PRESENCE OF THE ARK IN HEAVEN.
Revelation 11:19 Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His
covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an
earthquake, and great hail.
Revelation 21:3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the
tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be
His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.
Matthew 27:51Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to
bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split,
Hebrews 10:19 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by
the blood of Jesus,
Hebrews 10:20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through
the veil, that is, His flesh,
