Colossians 4:7 Tychicus, a beloved brother, faithful minister, and fellow servant
in the Lord, will tell you all the news about me.
Colossians 4:8 I am sending him to you for this very purpose, that he may
know your circumstances and comfort your hearts,
Colossians 4:9 with Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you.
They will make known to you all things which are happening here.

Colossians 4:10 Aristarchus my fellow prisoner greets you, with Mark the cousin
of Barnabas (about whom you received instructions: if he comes to you, welcome him),
Colossians 4:11 and Jesus who is called Justus. These are my only fellow workers
for the kingdom of God who are of the circumcision; they have proved to be a
comfort to me.
Colossians 4:12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a bondservant of Christ, greets you,
always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and
complete in all the will of God.

Colossians 4:13 For I bear him witness that he has a great zeal for you, and those
who are in Laodicea, and those in Hierapolis.
Colossians 4:14 Luke the beloved physician and Demas greet you.
Colossians 4:15 Greet the brethren who are in Laodicea, and Nymphas and
the church that is in his house.

Colossians 4:16 Now when this epistle is read among you, see that it is read also
in the church of the Laodiceans, and that you likewise read the epistle from Laodicea.
Colossians 4:17 And say to Archippus, “Take heed to the ministry which you have
received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it.”
Colossians 4:18 This salutation by my own hand–Paul. Remember my chains.

6) Epaphras — The Friend with a Superb Devotion.
Colossians 4:12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a bondservant of Christ, greets you,
always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and
complete in all the will of God.
Colossians 4:13 For I bear him witness that he has a great zeal for you, and
those who are in Laodicea, and those in Hierapolis.

Daniel 10:2 In those days I, Daniel, was mourning three full weeks.
Daniel 10:3 I ate no pleasant food, no meat or wine came into my mouth,
nor did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.
Daniel 10:12 Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day
that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God,
your words were heard; and I have come because of your words.

Daniel 10:13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days;

Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,
against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Colossians 4:12 “… always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may
stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

Leonard Ravenhill once said, “The self-sufficient do not pray, the self-satisfied
will not pray, the self-righteous cannot pray. No man is greater than his prayer life.”
Robert McCheyne said: “What a man is on his knees before God, that he is–and
nothing more.”

7) Luke — The Friend with the Specialized Talent.
Colossians 4:14 Luke the beloved physician …”

Luke wrote more of the New Testament than any other writer.
Luke wrote fifty-two of the chapters of the New Testament.
Here are two of the most impressive individuals in the entire Bible: Luke who
wrote the gospel of Luke and Acts and Paul who wrote 13 letters.

2 Timothy 4:11 Only Luke is with me.

8) Demas – The Friend with the Sad Future.
Colossians 4:14 “… and Demas greet you. ”

2 Timothy 4:10 Demas has deserted me because he loves the things of this life
and has gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus has gone
to Dalmatia.

There is the sin before the sin is found out and exposed to the rest of the world.

Zechariah 13:6 And one will say to him, ‘What are these wounds between your
hands?’ Then he will answer, ‘Those with which I was wounded in the house of
my friends.

9) Nymphas — the Friend with Sincere Hospitality.
Colossians 4:15 Greet the brethren who are in Laodicea, and Nymphas and
the church that is in his house.
Colossians 4:15 (ESV) Give my greetings to the brothers at Laodicea, and to
Nympha and the church in her house.

Colossians 4:16 Now when this epistle is read among you, see that it is read also
in the church of the Laodiceans, and that you likewise read the epistle from Laodicea.

1 Corinthians 13:1 This is the third time I am coming to you …”

10) Archippus — The Friend in need of Some Encouragement.
Colossians 4:17 And say to Archippus, “Take heed to the ministry which you
have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it.”

Hebrews 6:10 For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love
which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the
saints, and do minister
