Man He has appointed, and He proved to everyone who this is by raising Him
from the dead.”

does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

Psalm 139:1 O Lord, You have searched me and known me.

thought afar off.

1. Judge Jesus will get to the truth.

Proverbs 23:23 Buy the truth, and do not sell it …

When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and
the father of it.

Acts 24:5 For we have found this man a plague, a creator of dissension among
all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes.

Acts 25:11 For if I am an offender, or have committed anything deserving of death,
I do not object to dying; but if there is nothing in these things of which these men
accuse me, no one can deliver me to them. I appeal to Caesar.”

2. Judge Jesus will make wrongs things right.

1 Peter 3:14 But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed.
And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.

Matthew 10:28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul.
But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Acts 17:30 (NLT) “God overlooked people’s ignorance about these things in
earlier times, but now he commands everyone everywhere to repent of their sins
and turn to him.
Acts 17:31 (NLT) For He has set a day for judging the world with justice by the
Man He has appointed, and He proved to everyone who this is by raising Him
from the dead.”

What Impresses God

What Impresses God

Luke 18:9 Also He spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that
they were righteous, and despised others:
Luke 18:10 “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the
other a tax collector.
Luke 18:11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, ‘God, I thank You
that I am not like other men extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax
collector.
Luke 18:12 I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’
Luke 18:13 And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise
his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’
Luke 18:14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other;
for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
